UPDATE: Four Suspects Arrested in Alleged Gang Rape of 15-Year-Old Girl

Police in Oslob, Cebu have arrested four suspects in connection with the alleged gang rape of a 15-year-old girl from Sitio Nailong, Barangay Hagdan.

The Oslob Municipal Police and Cebu Provincial Police identified the suspects following a review of CCTV footage and witness interviews, according to Police Captain John Ace Layug, spokesperson of the Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO).

A manhunt operation was launched by a joint team from the CIDG-Cebu Provincial Field Unit and Oslob Municipal Police, leading to the arrests.

The four suspects, identified only as Chris, Cycy, Tris, and Ken, are now in the custody of the CIDG-Cebu.

Police are continuing their investigation into the incident and are preparing appropriate charges against the arrested individuals.

The victim’s mother reported the alleged rape incident, which occurred on the night of December 9 during a local festival, to the police on December 12.

The victim initially stated she was attacked by approximately 13 men, though she was unsure of the exact number.

Tragically, the victim passed away unexpectedly the following day, December 13.
