Shiela Guo to Be Transferred to NBI Custody Amid Security Concerns

The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has announced that Shiela Guo will be transferred to the custody of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) after the contempt order against her was lifted.

BI spokesperson Dana Sandoval explained that the decision to move Guo to NBI custody was made due to identified security concerns.

She clarified that the BI retains legal custody of Guo as she faces a deportation case involving misrepresentation and her status as an undesirable alien.

Sandoval assured that Guo would not receive any special treatment while under NBI custody.

In addition to these issues, Guo, whose real name is Zhang Mier, is also facing complaints related to the use of a fake Philippine passport and is a respondent in a money laundering case filed with the Department of Justice.
