Pope Francis has openly criticized both U.S. presidential candidates, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump, urging American voters to carefully consider their choice.

The Pope, speaking aboard the Papal plane while returning to the Vatican from a 12-day visit to Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste, and Singapore, expressed his disapproval of both candidates, describing them as opposed to life.

He specifically condemned Trump’s anti-migrant policies and Harris’ support for abortion rights.

In his remarks, Pope Francis encouraged voters to reflect on their conscience and choose the “lesser of two evils” in the upcoming U.S. election.

The 87-year-old pontiff’s comments have drawn attention, as he continues to voice strong opinions on global political issues, particularly those related to social justice and human rights.
