The impact of the collision left the dump truck driver trapped in the driver’s seat for over an hour, making rescue efforts difficult and causing a traffic build-up lasting approximately one hour and forty minutes.

Authorities said the oil tanker had two passengers, but neither sustained injuries from the incident.

Emergency responders struggled to extract the injured dump truck driver, who is now recovering at a local hospital.

Montalbo emphasized that the area is prone to accidents and urged motorists to slow down, especially when driving at night or in construction zones.
