4-Year-Old Boy Dies After Alleged Beating by Mother’s Girlfriend in Cavite

A four-year-old boy named Aki was found dead inside his bedroom in Barangay Langkaan II, Dasmariñas, Cavite, in the early hours of the morning.

According to the Dasmariñas Police Station, the primary suspect in the incident is the girlfriend of the boy’s mother.

The child’s mother, who has been working as an overseas domestic helper since 2023, left her son under the care of her partner.

Investigators reported that the suspect discovered the child unresponsive at around 3:00 a.m.

She then called the boy’s uncle, who confirmed the child was already dead.

The uncle immediately reported the incident to the authorities.

Prior to the tragedy, the uncle said there had been previous reports of the suspect physically abusing the child.

According to his statement, the boy had been struck, hit with hard objects, and beaten on at least three separate occasions.

The victim sustained bruises on the head and body, and a human bite mark was also found on a sensitive part of his body.

The suspect has refused to give any statement and is currently detained at the Dasmariñas Police Station Custodial Facility.
