During a plenary session on Tuesday, the lower chamber approved the committee report from the House Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability, which investigated the matter.

The committee hearings reportedly found that P50 million in public funds were misappropriated, while confidential funds amounting to P612.5 million were improperly utilized.

Committee Chairperson Rep. Joel Chua noted that Duterte was the first vice president to request an excessive confidential fund, with over P125 million spent within 11 days.

Vice President Duterte has previously denied all allegations made against her.
