The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has issued Weather Advisory No. 34 as the shear line continues to bring heavy rainfall across parts of Luzon.

  • Moderate to Heavy (50-100 mm): Apayao and Kalinga

  • Heavy to Intense (100-200 mm): Cagayan

Friday, December 6

  • Moderate to Heavy (50-100 mm): Cagayan

Rainfall amounts may be higher in mountainous and elevated areas, with significant antecedent rainfall likely worsening the impact in some locations.

The public and local disaster risk reduction offices are advised to take precautions to protect lives and properties. The potential for flooding, landslides, and other weather-related hazards remains high, especially in vulnerable areas.

PAGASA Regional Services Divisions are on standby to issue heavy rainfall warnings, thunderstorm advisories, and updates as needed.
