VP Sara Duterte Makes Surprise Visit to Ex-VP Robredo in Naga

Vice President Sara Duterte made a surprise visit to former Vice President Leni Robredo in Naga City on Friday, September 20.

The visit was confirmed by Robredo’s spokesperson, Atty. Barry Gutierrez. Gutierrez shared that VP Duterte was in Naga to attend the Peñafrancia Festival and took the opportunity to meet with Robredo.

According to Gutierrez, the meeting was purely personal, and political discussions were avoided.

It can be recalled that in 2019, Vice President Duterte referred to Robredo as a “Fake VP” in response to remarks about a candidate’s integrity.
