Taguig City Earns Top Awards in Economic Dynamism, Innovation and Most Improved Highly UrbanizedCity

Taguig City secured the Top 1 spot in Economic Dynamism and was named the Most Improved Highly Urbanized City by the Department of Trade and Industry at the Creative Cities and Municipalities Congress 2024

In addition to these, Taguig also placed 7th in Innovation and was recognized as the 10th Most Competitive City under the Highly Urbanized Cities category, reflecting its comprehensive efforts across multiple pillars of growth and sustainability.

Taguig City’s top ranking in Economic Dynamism shows its success in creating a stable business environment, supporting industry growth, and increasing job opportunities.

This highlights the city’s strong economy and continuing ability to attract businesses and investors.

Being named the Top 1 Most Improved Highly Urbanized City shows Taguig’s progress in boosting creativity, innovation, and governance, which improves the quality of life for its residents.

Taguig’s Top 7 Innovation ranking shows its progress in technology and the availability of online services. This shows the city’s dedication to using science and technology to enhance public services.

The Cities and Municipalities Competitive Index is a program that ranks local government units on their competitiveness based on five key areas: Economic Dynamism, Government Efficiency, Infrastructure, Resiliency, and Innovation.

This index promotes competition and encourages LGUs to improve their services and governance.
