Students’ Vehicle Overturns En Route to Kalinga Festival Event

A vehicle carrying students participating in the Bodong Drum and Lyre Competition in Kalinga was involved in an accident this morning.

The students were traveling from Balbalan, Kalinga, when their vehicle overturned while passing through Barangay Saleng on the way to Tabuk City.

Several passengers were taken to a hospital in Bulanao, Tabuk City, for medical attention.

Authorities are still determining the number of casualties from the accident.

An ongoing investigation is looking into the cause of the crash, with initial findings pointing to slippery roads due to recent rainfall.

The accident occurred amid the 30th Founding Anniversary and 6th Bodong Festival celebration, which features various activities with participants from across the province.
