Eugenio’s mother discovered him lying on the ground and immediately sought help. He was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead due to multiple gunshot wounds.

Police quickly launched an investigation and within 24 hours, arrested two suspects, aged 19 and 20. According to Pasig City Police chief, PCol. Hendrix Mangaldan, both suspects have prior criminal records, including charges of carnapping and attempted homicide.

The suspects now face charges of murder, violation of the Anti-Carnapping Law, and illegal possession of firearms.
