Puti was once a stray, often seen loitering outside the hardware store, covered in dirt and scavenging for food.

In 2023, employee Edgardo Bosito noticed the dog and started feeding him regularly.

Over time, Puti became a daily presence inside the store, leading a supervisor to officially give him an ID badge in November 2024, designating him as the store’s “official” dog.

Thanks to the care of the employees, Puti now has a proper bed, regular meals, and scheduled baths.

The store supervisor confirmed that Puti has been vaccinated and does not bite, assuring both employees and customers of their safety.

Puti’s unique role as an “employee” has brought joy to both the staff and customers, making him a beloved fixture at the store.
