“Just landed Manila. Yes, she’s back,” Alonte announced.

Earlier this week, Aquino shared a lengthy post on her official Instagram account detailing her health journey.

She arrived in the US with three diagnosed autoimmune conditions, with a fourth confirmed in late June 2022. Results for two additional autoimmune conditions are still pending.

In her post, Aquino expressed gratitude for the prayers and support she has received. She mentioned that she decided to return to the Philippines to begin her second round of immunosuppressant infusions, or chemotherapy.

“The encouragement and unwavering faith from my sisters, cousins, closest friends, and trusted team of doctors have been crucial. Sadly, what was once a battle to improve my health is now a struggle to protect my vital organs,” “This is now the FIGHT OF MY LIFE.”
