Leaders from various political parties under the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas have come together to express their support for the Philippine National Police (PNP) in its ongoing search for Pastor Apollo Quiboloy and his co-accused.

The alliance, comprising the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) led by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr., Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD), Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC), Nacionalista Party (NP), and National Unity Party (NUP), signed a joint statement endorsing the PNP’s efforts to fulfill its legal duties.

The statement was signed by key figures, including Special Assistant to the President, Secretary Antonio Ernesto Lagdameo Jr., Executive Vice President of PFP; Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez, President of Lakas-CMD; former Interior and Local Government Secretary, Chairman of NUP; former Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, President of NPC; and Misamis Oriental 2nd District Representative Yevgeny Vincente B. Emano, National Director of NP.

The leaders emphasized the importance of national unity, maintaining order, and respecting the rights of every individual.

Their statement comes amid rising tensions at the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) compound in Davao City, where police have been deployed to serve an arrest warrant against Quiboloy.

Quiboloy and his associates face charges of sexual abuse, child abuse, and qualified human trafficking.

The joint statement by political leaders is seen as a call for everyone to support the PNP and trust in the legal process to bring Quiboloy to justice.

The coalition also reaffirmed its commitment to upholding the law and ensuring national security.

The PNP’s search of the KOJC compound in Davao City is part of an ongoing legal effort to arrest Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, who is wanted on multiple charges, including sexual abuse and human trafficking.

Quiboloy, who leads the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, The Name Above Every Name (KOJC), has been a controversial figure for years.

His influence spans both religious and political spheres, making the case highly sensitive.

The search has heightened tensions in Davao City, particularly among Quiboloy’s followers, who view him as a divine figure.

The PNP’s actions have sparked a broader conversation about the rule of law and the extent of religious influence in the Philippines.

The support from major political parties shows the national significance of this case and the government’s resolve to ensure that legal processes are followed, even when dealing with powerful individuals.
