PNP to File Obstruction of Justice Charges Against Individuals Who Hid Quiboloy

Obstruction of justice charges will be filed by the Philippine National Police (PNP) against individuals who assisted in hiding Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.

This was confirmed by PNP Chief Police General Rommel Francisco Marbil, who announced that a full investigation into those involved in hiding Quiboloy has already been launched.

Quiboloy was apprehended last week inside the KOJC compound in Davao City.

He is currently facing charges under Section 5(b) and Section 10(a) of Republic Act 7610, or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act, along with a non-bailable qualified human trafficking charge under Section 4(a) of Republic Act No. 9208.
