Phreatomagmatic Eruption Recorded at Taal Volcano, Plume Reaches 2,000 Meters

Taal Volcano experienced another minor phreatomagmatic eruption today, according to Phivolcs.
The eruption occurred at 11:32 AM and lasted for four minutes.

Phivolcs reported that the plume reached a height of 2,000 meters from the main crater.

In the past 24 hours, four volcanic phreatic eruptions were recorded in the Taal Volcano.

Sulfur dioxide emissions reached 3,276 tons per day, with steam rising to 1,200 meters high.

Despite these activities, Taal Volcano remains under Alert Level 1.

Residents near the area are advised to stay prepared and alert for potential volcanic unrest.

Private volunteer groups have also expressed their readiness to assist in evacuation if the situation escalates.
