Former President Rodrigo Duterte appears to be “hallucinating” after alleging that Malacañang is sponsoring former Senator Antonio Trillanes.

This was the reaction of Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin in response to Duterte’s claim.

Duterte had raised suspicions, questioning why he is being targeted by the Palace despite no longer attacking President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

Bersamin remarked that it is difficult to engage with such accusations.

The controversy stems from Trillanes’ past claims that drug money flowed into Duterte’s bank accounts.

During a House Quad Committee hearing, Duterte refused to sign a bank waiver to disprove the allegations.
