One-Year-Old Child Dies After Being Swept Away by Typhoon Tino Floods in Cebu

A one-year-old child was confirmed dead after being swept away by floodwaters in Cebu during the onslaught of Typhoon Tino.

The body of the child was recovered and is currently at the Poblacion Pardo Barangay Hall, awaiting retrieval by the mother and relatives.

This fatality adds to the growing number of casualties linked to Typhoon Tino, which has also claimed lives in Bohol.

Floodwaters have risen above rooftops in several parts of Cebu, with major bridges overflowing due to relentless rainfall.

Despite ongoing search, rescue, and clearing operations, many residents remain stranded and are still calling for help.

Monitoring reports indicate that Typhoon Tino remains a strong weather system and is currently moving westward toward Negros and Panay Island.
