The PCG also confirmed that 35 vessels and 1,000 rolling cargoes were temporarily held at ports to prevent maritime accidents amid rough sea conditions.

Affected regions include Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, and parts of Southern Luzon, where storm signals have been raised due to Tino’s intensification.

Authorities emphasized that the suspension of sea travel is part of precautionary measures to ensure the safety of passengers and crew.

The PCG continues to monitor weather advisories from PAGASA and coordinates with local port authorities for updates and passenger assistance.
