These evacuees are from Barangays Handumanan, Pahanocoy, Cabug, Singcang-Airport, Sum-Ag, Alijis, and Taculing.

However, Siocon admitted that some of the evacuees returned to their homes immediately after the floodwaters subsided in their areas.

They are advising the barangays to ensure that rescues don’t need to be repeated if people return home before the situation has fully stabilized.

He expressed relief that no injuries have been reported.
