According to initial reports, Cabaluna was last seen at around 6:00 PM, drinking with her close friend, Dorlyn Cabillo, and another companion before she was later found lifeless.

Cabillo shared that Cabaluna had previously mentioned ending her life if no one would take her and her child in, but she dismissed it as a joke.

Hours later, upon checking on them, she was shocked to find them unresponsive.

Efforts were made to revive the child through CPR, and she reportedly vomited green fluid, but she was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.
