President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. supports the creation of a Right-of-Way Office following a recommendation from the Private Sector Advisory Council (PSAC).

The PSAC proposed establishing the Right-of-Way (ROW) Office under the Office of the President to address land acquisition issues delaying major infrastructure projects.

The initiative aims to accelerate the implementation of the administration’s Build Better More infrastructure program.

During a meeting with PSAC’s Infrastructure Sector, the President discussed key challenges slowing down major projects in the country.

The discussion also covered possible solutions, including streamlining the land acquisition process for infrastructure development.

Right-of-way acquisition has been identified as one of the biggest obstacles in infrastructure projects, often delayed due to disputes, court backlogs, and bureaucratic inefficiencies.
