The suspects were named as Vincent Pascua and his father, George Pascua, both residents of Barangay Pussuac, Sto. Domingo.

According to PLt. Roger Retreta, Officer-in-Charge of the Sto. Domingo Municipal Police Station, Doquez and his live-in partner went to the suspects’ house to collect a P10,000 payment for a water pump.

Instead, Vincent Pascua allegedly shot Doquez multiple times, hitting him in the torso.

Retreta explained that the suspects had stolen a generator the previous month and sold it to Doquez.

When Magsingal police traced the stolen item to Doquez, the suspects agreed to compensate him for his loss, leading to the confrontation.

Fearing for her life, Doquez’s partner fled the crime scene, leaving the suspects an opportunity to dispose of the body.

They wrapped the victim in a tarp and sack and transported him to a forested area in Paing, Bantay, using a tricycle.

After dumping the body, George Pascua allegedly had second thoughts.
