Man loses leg after being struck by motorcycle

A man lost his right leg after being hit by a speeding motorcycle while crossing a highway in Mandaue City, Cebu.

According to a report from one media source on Friday, initial investigations revealed that the victim was crossing the road when he was struck by a fast-moving “big bike.”

Authorities are still determining whether CCTV footage was captured of the incident.

However, other cameras in the area had earlier recorded the motorcycle overtaking another vehicle and switching lanes.

The victim is currently recovering in the hospital, and reports indicate that the motorcycle rider has already reached out to him.
