Man Found Dead with Gunshot Wound to the Head in Cebu City

A man found dead in Cebu City was discovered in Barangay Sudlon 1 around 5 a.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2025.

The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the head that pierced through his face, which authorities believe caused his immediate death.

According to information obtained by the Bombo News team, a woman, whose identity is withheld, claimed she saw the victim being picked up by unidentified men in Barangay Lagtang, Talisay City earlier that morning.

However, police are still verifying the accuracy of this report.

Meanwhile, Joseph, the head of the Barangay Sudlon 1 security team, revealed that at around 5:30 a.m., a resident reported hearing two gunshots near the area.

When authorities arrived, they found the man lifeless, with fresh blood indicating that the crime had just occurred.

Recovered at the crime scene were cash, a wallet, and a comb, which may have belonged to the victim.

As of this report, police are still working to identify the man, as no residents in the area recognized him.

The victim was wearing a yellow-green T-shirt and khaki shorts and was estimated to be around 50 years old or older.
