Rising Japanese global boy band ONE OR EIGHT have released the third and final remix version of their hit song “KAWASAKI”.
This time, it is a collaboration with Asian sensations Felip (a.k.a. Ken of Filipino pop group SB19) and Vietnamese-American R&B sensation thủy.
The new remix features Felip’s signature deep vocals and distinct rap delivery, combined with thủy’s sultry voice.
“We’re incredibly grateful to have Felip and thủy on this remix. I think we all brought our unique flavors and styles, blending them in a way that uncovered a whole new dimension of ‘KAWASAKI’. The contrast between Felip’s deep, resonant tone and my sharp, piercing sound created an exciting synergy, adding so much depth to the track. thủy’s verse took ‘KAWASAKI’ into uncharted territory, introducing vocals that elevated the song beautifully. We can’t wait to hear what the fans think of this amazing remix,” NEO of ONE OR EIGHT shares.
The original performance video for “KAWASAKI” was a hit, surpassing 10 million views on YouTube in less than a week. The track continued its popularity, being released into a series of remixes featuring six-time GRAMMY-nominated rapper Big Sean and Korean-American rapper pH-1.
