The House Quad Committee is strongly convinced that former Davao Penal and Prison Farm (DPPF) Head Senior Supt. Gerardo Padilla is connected to former President Duterte.

This conclusion came after Rep. Joseph Paduano presented a photo showing Padilla and the former president together at an event in Davao.

According to Paduano, the photo was taken at a wedding on Samal Island, Davao, where both men served as godfathers. However, Padilla denied the claim.

In light of this, Rep. Paduano challenged Padilla to reveal everything he knows.

Earlier, Padilla admitted during the House Quad Committee hearing that he was aware of the planned execution of three Chinese drug lords at the Davao Prison and Penal Farm.

In addition, witnesses Fernando Magdadaro and Leopoldo Tan Jr., both Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), testified that Duterte personally called Padilla to congratulate him after the successful execution of the three Chinese nationals.
