Naga City was among the hardest-hit areas in the Bicol Region by Tropical Storm Kristine, according to initial police reports. The city also recorded the highest number of fatalities due to drowning.

Robredo has made repeated calls for government and private sector assistance to support her fellow citizens in Naga.

She specifically requested the deployment of pump boats for rescue operations, noting that trucks could no longer access several areas due to the rising floodwaters.
