Dismissed Bamban Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo has confirmed that threats against her life are coming from both foreign and Filipino individuals.

During a Senate Committee on Women and Children hearing, Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. inquired about the identity of those threatening her.

Guo did not disclose specific names but indicated that both a Filipino and a foreigner have posed threats to her.

Meanwhile, Senator Sherwin Gatchalian expressed skepticism regarding the legitimacy of Guo’s claims, noting the absence of a police report.

Gatchalian argued that Guo’s failure to file a police report raises questions about the validity of her claims, suggesting that the threats could be a pretext to avoid answering questions during the hearing.

Gatchalian emphasized that when he received a death threat, his immediate response was to file a police report to allow authorities to investigate the veracity of the threat.
