Delivery Rider Killed in Hit-and-Run Incident

A delivery rider was killed in a hit-and-run incident along the national highway in Barangay Nanguneg East, Narvacan, Ilocos Sur.

The victim, identified as Patrick dela Rosa Soria, 29, was a resident of Bulanos, Narvacan, and was driving a Suzuki Skydrive motorcycle when the incident occurred.

According to Police Master Sergeant Stephen Aldoesa, the case investigator, the motorcycle was traveling southbound when Soria lost control of the handlebars.

Soria’s motorcycle skidded across the road and collided with an unidentified vehicle traveling from the opposite direction.

The victim sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.

Authorities are pursuing charges of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide against the unidentified driver responsible for the collision.
