The Davao City Regional Trial Court Branch 15 has ordered the Philippine National Police (PNP) to vacate the compound of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) in Davao City.

This decision follows the KOJC’s request for a temporary protection order due to the prolonged presence of police forces, which the group claims has disrupted their activities.

In a three-page order signed by Judge Mario Duaves, the court directed the police to cease their activities within the KOJC premises and remove the barriers placed at the entry points of the compound.

This ruling follows a request from the camp of KOJC leader Apollo Quiboloy for a temporary protection order, citing the prolonged presence of government forces in their place of worship.

Despite the court’s order, the situation remains tense as the PNP continues to search for KOJC leader Apollo Quiboloy, who is wanted on various charges.
