MANILA – Cavite 4th District Representative Kiko Barzaga has called on the public to withdraw their support for President Bongbong Marcos Jr.

This was the congressman’s statement during the second day of the “Rally Para sa Pananagutan, Katarungan, at Katapatan” held at the People Power Monument in EDSA White Plains on November 17.

Barzaga personally joined the rally in EDSA. In his statement, Barzaga urged the public to withdraw their support for President Marcos and said that the president’s administration should not be allowed to continue for several more years.

“We have given him a large responsibility and wala pa siyang nagagawa, and we cannot keep continuing this. Our economy cannot handle another three years of President Marcos as the President in Malacañang. Kaya to all government agencies, to all private citizens, to all Filipinos, my recommendation would be to withdraw support for President Marcos. Hopefully, he resigns soon. We are free to call people to resign; we’re in the People Power Monument, where the former President Marcos Sr. was actually removed through People Power. That’s the exact same thing. We’re seeing history repeat itself .”

He also added that everyone must be prepared for what happens next, with all the chaos happening in the country.

“Martial Law, we hope it doesn’t reach that point, but we’ll be prepared for anything.”
