Alleged LGBTQ Member Shot Dead in Roxas City, Investigation Ongoing

An alleged member of the LGBTQ community was shot dead in Barangay Gabuan, Roxas City, according to initial reports.

The victim, identified as “Rina,” a resident of Barangay Mongpong in Roxas City, was reportedly of legal age.

Sources indicate that Rina had just left a mall in Roxas City and was heading home on a tricycle when the incident occurred.

As the tricycle reached Hemingway Street, gunshots were heard, and upon reaching the location of the incident, the victim was shot four times.

The tricycle driver, frightened by the gunfire, fled to nearby woods and only returned when a crowd had gathered around the scene.

Meanwhile, the suspects, who were riding a motorcycle, quickly fled after the shooting.

Roxas City police are currently investigating the case to determine the motives behind the attack.
