Dismissed Bamban mayor Alice Guo or Guo Hua Ping has been labeled a “professional scam artist” by Senator Risa Hontiveros after the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) revealed discrepancies in her signature on a counter-affidavit.

Hontiveros emphasized that Guo and her legal team had previously claimed that she signed a counter-affidavit before fleeing the country.

However, the NBI’s findings have exposed this as another one of Guo’s many lies.

The senator stressed that Guo’s lawyers should also be held accountable and investigated not only by the Department of Justice (DOJ) but also by the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.

Senator Joel Villanueva, on the other hand, expressed that the NBI’s findings were not surprising, stating, “What else can we expect from criminals who have been lying from the start?”

Both lawmakers have called for Guo to face the consequences of her actions and for her accomplices to be held accountable as well.
