PBGen Nicolas Torre III, the Regional Director of Police Regional Office 11, has emphasized that there was no political motivation in serving the arrest warrant to fugitive pastor Apollo Quiboloy and four other co-accused individuals.
This statement comes in response to the obstruction by Quiboloy’s followers during the police search operations.
Torre stated that if members of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) believe in their pastor’s innocence, they should cooperate with the police rather than demand justice on the streets.
“Justice is not sought in the streets. We seek justice in our courts. Let’s not mix politics into this; there is no politics involved. This is a fair implementation of the arrest warrant,” Torre stressed.

Torre further noted that their search operations were conducted under the “terms” set by the KOJC members, which hindered the thorough inspection of the compound.
He shared that they entered a building yesterday where, according to their informant, Quiboloy may have had a room where he could be hiding. Torre explained that the building was occupied by women, so he brought 60 female police officers for the search, but only 10 were allowed to enter by KOJC members.
Although they confirmed the presence of a room matching the informant’s description—with men’s clothing and shoes that fit Quiboloy—no one was found as the room was empty and clean.
Additionally, they discovered a section where girls aged 10-15 were present.
Due to these limitations, Torre does not consider the building to have been fully “searched” as the operation was conducted under the terms set by the KOJC members.
