PNR General Manager Engineer Deovanni Miranda said in an interview with Bombo Radyo Legazpi that the agency immediately coordinated with its finance department to facilitate aid for the individual.

The assistance includes medical support such as the provision of necessary medications for the victim’s recovery.

Miranda also confirmed that both PNR and the Philippine National Police have completed their investigation into the incident.

He urged the public, especially those staying near railway tracks, to remain vigilant—particularly when hearing train horns, as trains are unable to stop instantly.
