In a unique and inspiring event in Maguindanao del Sur, a 77-year-old man underwent circumcision as part of the provincial government’s free medical outreach program.
The initiative aims to provide free medical services to residents of the province, regardless of age or social status.
The elderly man had long wished to undergo circumcision but was unable to do so due to a lack of resources, knowledge, and access to medical services in his area.
Through the efforts of the Maguindanao del Sur Provincial Government, he was finally able to fulfill his lifelong dream.
The program also catered to other male participants, including a 40-year-old farmer, a 31-year-old resident, and a 21-year-old man, all of whom expressed gratitude for the free service.
The beneficiaries shared how the program relieved their financial burdens, providing essential medical services without cost.
This medical outreach is part of the local government’s ongoing efforts to reach underserved communities in Maguindanao del Sur.
The program offers free circumcision, consultations, and other basic health services to ensure better healthcare access for remote areas.
While free circumcision programs are traditionally held during summer, the participation of elderly men in this initiative highlights the importance of inclusivity and opportunities for all, regardless of age.
