Father Stabs Wife, Two Children to Death in Cebu

A man ruthlessly stabbed his wife and two young children to death inside their home in Purok Kamangahan, Barangay Lutac, Naga City, Cebu, past 10 a.m. on Monday, January 27, 2025.

The victims were identified as Junelyn Jimenez, 32, and her two children, John Carlo Camporedondo, 11, and LJ Camporedondo, 2.

The suspect, Carlo Camporedondo, remains at large after fleeing the crime scene.

Initial reports indicated that the suspect used a knife to carry out the killings before escaping into a nearby mountain forest.

The Naga City Police Station has launched a manhunt for the suspect, with the cooperation of local barangay officials.

Neighbors reported that the couple had been experiencing frequent arguments prior to the incident.

One possible motive being explored by authorities is the suspect’s alleged drug use, as he had previously undergone rehabilitation.
