Binga Dam has opened one gate, releasing a total of 38 cubic meters per second of water.

Magat Dam initially opened its floodway gate, releasing 181 cubic meters per second (CMS) of water, which later increased to 411 CMS due to ongoing heavy rains.

The continuous downpour in the tributaries of the dams is expected to sustain the release of water.

Northern Luzon is currently affected by a shearline, causing persistent and heavy rains.
