Police anti-narcotics agents apprehended four suspected drug traffickers on Tuesday and Wednesday (Sept. 24 and 25) during buy-bust operations in Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal provinces.
The raids yielded more than P523,000 in shabu (crystal meth), according to a Police Region 4A report released on Wednesday, September 25.
According to the report, agents in Cainta, Rizal, detained “Ambeng” at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday, he sold shabu to a poseur-buyer in Barangay San Juan.
Six small sachets containing P81,600 worth of meth were seized from the suspect.
In Laguna, police in Victoria Town held a “Klim” at Barangay Nanhaya around 9:30 p.m. On Tuesday, September 24.
The perpetrator was apprehended with suspected possession of four sachets of shabu valued at P272,000.
Also, the Cavite police arrested “Boy” and “Melody” in Barangay Luzviminda 2 in Dasmariñas City at 4 p.m. On Tuesday.
They seized four sachets of shabu worth P170,000 and a mobile phone, which will be searched for drug transaction information.
According to authorities, Boy and Melody were highly valuable individuals in the area’s drug trade, while Klim and Ambeng were recognized as street pushers.
Authorities in all three provinces are conducting additional investigations to identify the source of the illegal substances.
All accused are in police custody and face charges of breaking the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.#
