Around 1,000 tricycle drivers were provided with family food packs from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) during a distribution event held in Cavite City on September 4.

The recipients were among those affected by Typhoon Enteng (Yagi), which devastated Cavite, Metro Manila, and other areas.

In his message, Senator Lapid expressed hope that the relief goods and financial aid from the DSWD would help meet the beneficiaries’ needs during these challenging times.

Grateful beneficiaries extended their thanks to Senator Lapid for the timely assistance amid the calamity.

Cavite City Mayor Denver Christopher Chua and Vice Mayor Benzen Rusit played key roles in facilitating the relief distribution and payout for the tricycle drivers.
