A woman pretending to be an intelligence officer was arrested by authorities at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.
According to airport officials, the 32-year-old suspect, identified as alias ‘Sheena’ from Pasay City, falsely claimed to be an intelligence officer with the Philippine Army.
The arrest came after coordination between NAIA authorities, the PNP Aviation Security Group, and the New NAIA Infrastructure Corp., who identified the woman during a security briefing.
The briefing was held as part of NAIA’s transition to privatization, in which the suspect participated.
Wearing a full fatigue uniform, the woman introduced herself as a member of the airport’s security transition team.
However, upon verification, her name was not found on the list of authorized personnel, leading to her immediate arrest.
She now faces charges of usurpation of authority and false representation, filed at the Pasay Prosecutor’s Office.
