VICE President Sara Duterte expressed her wish for unity to prevail in every Filipino household as the nation observes All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day this year.
In a video message, Duterte encouraged Filipinos to pray for the souls of their departed loved ones and to draw inspiration from their memories to face each day with faith, hope, and love.
“Sa ating paggunita ng Undas, nawa’y isapuso natin ang tunay na diwa ng pananampalataya, pagpapahalaga sa mga santo at maalab na pag-alala sa ating mga yumaong mahal sa buhay.Patuloy nating ipanalangin ang kapayapaan at katahimikan ng kanilang mga kaluluwa. Sana’y maging inspirasyon ang kanilang alaala sa bawat hakbang natin sa buhay,” she said.

She further added, “Ngayong Undas, nawa’y manaig ang pagkakaisa at pag-asa sa bawat pamilyang Pilipino. Harapin natin ang bawat araw ng may pananampalataya, pag-asa, at pagmamahal.”
