7,838 new Medical Technologists announced; Rank 1 and 2 come from same university

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has released the results of the March 2026 Medical Technologists Licensure Examination (MTLE), with a total of 7,838 examinees successfully passing the board exam.

According to the PRC, 9,317 candidates took the examination conducted on March 5 and 6, 2026, in various testing centers across the country. Based on the results, the licensure examination recorded an approximately 84.13 percent passing rate.

The examinations were administered in several cities, including Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga

Also included in the released results are the complete list of passers, the Top 10 examinees, and the list of top-performing schools in the examination.

Leading the list are Reisz Wyrnel G. Camasin, RMT (Rank 1 – 93.00%) and Dexter A. Masongsong Jr., RMT (Rank 2 – 92.90%), both graduates of San Pedro College in Davao City.

The MTLE is one of the licensure examinations regularly conducted by the PRC to ensure the quality and competence of professionals in the field of medical laboratory science in the country.
