The storm is moving west-northwestward at 25 kilometers per hour and is expected to enter PAR within the day, bringing widespread rainfall and strong winds to affected areas.

Signal No. 2 has been hoisted over Catanduanes, parts of Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, and Samar Island, indicating winds of 61–120 kph within the next 24 hours.

Signal No. 1 remains in effect over portions of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, including Quezon, Romblon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, Leyte, Cebu, Bohol, and Dinagat Islands.

PAGASA forecasts that Uwan may reach super typhoon status by Saturday night or early Sunday morning, with peak winds possibly exceeding 185 kph.

Landfall is projected over the southern portion of Isabela or northern Aurora late Sunday evening or early Monday morning, November 10.

After landfall, the typhoon is expected to weaken slightly as it crosses the mountainous terrain of Northern Luzon, then reemerge over the West Philippine Sea by Monday afternoon.

Storm surge warnings have been issued for low-lying coastal areas in Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, and parts of Eastern Visayas, with peak heights possibly exceeding 3 meters.

A gale warning is also in effect over the northern and eastern seaboards of Luzon and the eastern seaboard of Visayas, advising mariners to avoid sea travel due to rough conditions.
