Two dead in Vigan City shooting after a heated altercation outside a bar in Barangay 8, Ilocos Sur, early Monday morning.
Vigan Police Station chief Police Lt. Col. Reynaldo Mendoza Jr. identified the victims as Robert Apanay, 29, of Barangay San Julian, Vigan City, and Kriscell Rosario, 29, of Barangay Tampugo, Tagudin, Ilocos Sur.
According to the police investigation, Apanay approached the suspect, Jayson Oriente, 30, of Barangay Poblacion, Santol, La Union, who was drinking alone inside the bar.
A heated argument ensued between the two, but Rosario intervened and managed to pacify the situation.
Apanay and his group then left the bar, but the suspect followed them outside.
Outside the bar, Apanay suddenly attacked Oriente with a screwdriver, stabbing him multiple times.

Both Apanay and Rosario were rushed to the hospital but were declared dead due to gunshot wounds.
The suspect was also taken into custody and brought to the hospital for treatment of his stab wounds.
