Tropical Storm #CrisingPH (WIPHA) has slightly intensified overnight as it continues its northwestward movement along the coastal waters of Calayan, Cagayan, packing maximum sustained winds of 85 km/h, gusting up to 115 km/h, and generating sea swells as high as 6.0 meters.

Residents in Batanes, Cagayan (incl. Babuyan Islands), Ilocos Norte, and Ilocos Sur should prepare for 1.0–2.0 meter storm surges within 12 hours.

Gale warnings are in effect, with very rough seas reported across multiple seaboards:

  • Up to 6.0 m over Batanes and Babuyan Islands
  • Up to 4.5 m over Ilocos Norte, Cagayan, and Isabela
  • Sea travel is dangerous and discouraged for all vessels
