Three Dead, Six Injured, One Missing in Bicol Due to Tropical Storm Kristine – PNP

The Philippine National Police (PNP) in Bicol confirmed that three people have died in the region following the onslaught of Tropical Storm Kristine.

According to PBGEN. Andre Dizon, Regional Director of PNP Bicol, in an interview with Bombo Radyo Legazpi, one fatality each was reported in Catanduanes, Masbate, and Camarines Sur.

Six people were also injured, and one individual is reported missing.

Meanwhile, authorities are investigating whether the death of another individual in Polangui, Albay, was related to the storm.

Rescue and recovery operations are ongoing, particularly in the 3rd District of Albay and Camarines Sur, where the most flood-affected areas have been recorded.

The PNP is coordinating with other local government units (LGUs) and concerned agencies to assist those affected by the storm.

Dizon also reminded residents to secure their belongings in safe places to avoid theft and to stay indoors, as some roads remain impassable.
