I deeply thank Lakas-CMD for the support they are giving us, and they can count on us to continue advancing services, programs, and proposals for the good of the nation), Lapid said.

He also honored the contributions of past Lakas-CMD leaders such as former President Fidel V. Ramos and former House Speaker Jose de Venecia Jr., noting their pivotal support to his home province during the aftermath of the Mount Pinatubo eruption.

I will never forget their swift assistance to us in Pampanga after Mount Pinatubo erupted and we were devastated by lahar), Lapid said in his speech.

The meeting was also attended by lawmakers, governors, mayors, and other Lakas-CMD members, during which Speaker Romualdez urged the party to rally behind the Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas senatorial lineup.
