Senator Risa Hontiveros revealed during the Senate Subcommittee on Justice and Human Rights hearing that the Sabah stamp on Shiela Leal Guo’s passport is fake.
According to Hontiveros, friends in Sabah, Malaysia confirmed that Shiela had no “legal entry” into Sabah. Based on credible sources from the committee, it was discovered that Shiela and her group arrived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on July 18.
Hontiveros also stated, citing information from the Democratic Action Party, Akbayan’s sister party in Malaysia, that the Sabah stamp in Shiela’s passport was forged.
Before this, it was revealed that Shiela had traveled from Bali, Indonesia, but no record of this journey has been found.
Shiela Guo continues to insist on her previous account, claiming that they traveled from the Philippines by boat to Sabah before eventually reaching Malaysia.
